How to Achieve Effective Weight Loss

I believe that you can do anything want to - if only you know how.

I also believe that you can do anything you want to - as long as it is broken down into simple and easy steps that you take one at a time.

A series of small successes quickly becomes one huge success.

I know how you can lose the weight you want to lose, and I can help you to do that easily and effectively with my simple weight loss strategy. A weight loss strategy that I am happy to share with you.

Two Steps You Can Take Now to Help You Begin this Process of Losing Weight

1. The Value of Protein

While the primary focus of my weight loss strategy is away from food - simply because focusing on food is counter-productive (but more about that in a later video) - in order to lose the weight you choose to lose some changes to your eating patterns are necessary. Though with my simple strategy those changes will actually emerge naturally as things you just want to do, rather than feeling that you should, but don't really want to.

So here's something very simple you can try out. Eat a little more protein. Researchers tested this out by providing two breakfasts: one breakfast consisted of two scrambled eggs, two slices of toast and a tablespoon of calorie-reduced preserve; the other was a bagel, 2 tablespoons of cream cheese, and 3oz of non-fat yoghurt. Those who ate the eggs felt fuller and consumed significantly less food over the next 36 hours than those who had the bagel. Both breakfasts had exactly the same calorie count.

Proteins keep you full for much longer than carbohydrates. Now this isn't a suggestion that you immediately start looking for a protein rich diet to follow. Diets don't work, in fact diets harm you, but I'll tell you more about that in the third of my free videos, which you'll receive if you let me have your email address at the bottom of the page.

2. Comparisons Make Losing Weight More Difficult

One of the serious problems in the weight loss industry is society's idolisation of super-slimness. And what the weight-loss industry does is to encourage you to feel bad because you aren't as slim as someone famous who probably has an eating disorder, or is permanently on a treadmill.

You can always find someone who looks better than you. There are over 6 billion people on this planet so you probably don't have to look very far to find someone who looks better than you. And when you come to look at being overweight and obese then you'll find loads of people who are slimmer than you - but you'll also find loads of people who are more overweight or more obese than you are. Comparing yourself to others who are slimmer than you will only make you feel bad - and feeling bad triggers inappropriate eating behaviours.

Remember that your journey is your journey. It doesn't matter about anyone else's journey. If you stop comparing you will make much faster progress. So make a commitment to yourself that you will decide what is the most appropriate weight, or clothes size, for you. Then make a decision that you will achieve that regardless of what anyone else thinks. And if the pounds don't drop off regularly, the same amount every week - so what. Just lose weight at whetever rate is right for you. Be happy and you'll lose weight easily and effortlessly by following my guidance with my weight loss strategy.

By the way, I look more closely at being overweight and obese in the second free video of the series which you will receive immediately you let me know your email address so that I can send it to you.
