Hypnosis
isn't just a tool for fixing psychological problems,
and to see it just this way is to limit it's life-enhancing
potential.
Goals
& Dreams
If
I were to ask you a specific question I'd be very
surprised if you answered 'yes'. If you do answer
yes then you have no need of help from me. In fact
the reverse would probably be true.
The
question is:
Do
you know everything there is to know about yourself?
I
would like to follow it with another question
Do
you know just how powerful your mind is?
If
you answered 'no' to the first question, then it's
going to be difficult for you to answer 'yes' to the
second.
Since
you don't know just how powerful your mind is, you
probably don't know how to access more of its power
than you do at the moment. Or more correctly, you
probably don't know how to direct its power at the
moment.
Your
mind has to power to draw into your world your dreams
and desires. It also has the power to draw into your
world that which you fear, and that which you expect
to happen - because I never have any luck, because
I never win, because bad news always comes in threes...
Now
I'm not suggesting I am going to take you on a 'power-trip'
whereby you become boss of the world able to make
people do whatever you want them to do. What I am
suggesting is using hypnosis to focus and direct your
mind-energy so that you can maximise your potential
to bring about whatever it is you desire. The techniques
I use are not unusual in themselves, but I use the
power of hypnosis to focus and concentrate your intention
in order to create the best possible chances of success.
I
offer this in two forms:
Goal
directed therapy
- whereby we focus on a specific achievable outcome
and spend three sessions working towards shifting
your subconscious mind to assisting you in working
with you towards your goal. This is useful for goals
such as a promotion, a new car, academic achievement,
learning a skill, performance enhancement and so on.
Fulfill
your Dreams
- where we look at your life in a broader way and
look at what your dreams are, where your destiny lies,
finding a direction in life, and so on. This treatment
is aimed more towards those things that seem impossible,
or at the very least just out of reach. It will entail
exploring your past to seek out and remove blockages
to fulfillment. It will mean looking at and exploring
how you sabotage yourself. It will mean making choices
about what it is you want from life. It will mean
embracing life and recognising that you have a value
and that you have a contribution to make. It could
mean finding happiness. But i'm not making any promises.
This could be the toughest journey you've ever made.
It could also be the most rewarding.
...and
of course, I offer you the opportunity to explore
your past and it's contribtion to your present. But
I don't mean your past in this lifetime.
Past-Life
regression
is an opportunity to explore who you really are and
to remove any fear of death. For if you experience
many lives, death will cease to have any meaning for
you. I'm not going to try to convince you that we
each lead many many lives and this one is nothing
special. That may be true, but I would rather suggest
that there is sufficient evidence to suggest that
we each have access to the memories of other lives,
and those memories seem to have a connecting thread
of personality that seems to be the individual you
know as YOU. What I do know is that a regression into
a past-life experience can have a profoundly beneficial
impact on an individual.

One
of the most fascinating things about hypnosis is that
you can do it to yourself. Self
hypnosis is a skill that anyone can learn,
but you have to be dedicated to become proficent at
it. However, I have to say that trance depth is generally
not as deep with self-hynosis as it is when you have
a hypnotherapist guiding you, nor is it possible to
achieve the same therapeutic gains. This is because
most of the problems we experience are the result
of our own inner resistances and those will still
operate even under self-hypnosis. It takes a skilled
and experienced practitioner to gently work around
those barriers to healing and becoming free. The benefits
of self-hypnosis are best utilisied after visiting
a hypnotherapist and then using self-hypnosis to reinforce
the benefits and gains achieved in therapy.
I
can teach you how to practise self-hypnosis, by hypnotising
you and then under trance instructing you, so that
you will achieve a satisfactory trance depth each
time with enough awareness to focus on your goals
for that particular session.
